Lenox Community Center Halloween Teen Night – will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m.  $15.00 per teen includes admission to the hayride, transportation, doughnuts, and cider.  Reserve your spot by Friday, October 9th by phoning Kim or Jenny at 637-5530.  More information is posted on the Community Bulletin Board outside of the Guidance Offices.




Berkshire Community College will be in guidance on Thursday, November 5th for Instant Admission Day.  All seniors who are interested will need to book an appointment with the admission counselor.  Please see

Mrs. Omelenchuck.  Each appointment will be approx. 30 minutes in length and students are asked to complete the application on their website. 


PSAT Exam – The CollegeBoard’s PSAT/NMSQT will be offered here at Lenox on Wednesday morning, October 14thfor all sophomores and juniors. 


SAT  / ACT Testing Dates:  The first test for ACT will be October 24th.  Information concerning testing dates as well as a test day checklist is posted in the high school wing – 2nd floor.



Scholarships for Seniors – The Big Y has arrived!

The Horatio Alger Assoc. - Prudential Spirit of Community Award –  Barbara J. Sinnott Student of Integrity Scholarship –  and now………..VFW – Voice of Democracy – Theme, “My Vision for America”   this will be a recorded essay on an audio CD or flash drive to be submitted by November 1st.  The top video will be awarded a $30,000 scholarship!





Seniors – Colleges and Universities are booking visits for interested students. The list of names, dates and times is posted on our web page under Guidance Department and is also posted outside of the Guidance Offices on our bulletin board.  Please register for the college/university you are interested in with Mrs. Omelenchuck so room accommodations are met.
