HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Chorus : The first High School Chorus rehearsal will be on Thursday, September 4 at 7:00 a.m. in the Music Room. All high school students are welcome. See Mr. Cade if you have questions.
National Art Honor Society – will meet every other Friday until the end of the year from 7:25 – 7:45 a.m. in room 15 beginning on.
National Honor Society – will hold their first meeting on Wednesday, September 10th in the theater. Please be there promptly at 7:25 a.m.
Parking Passes: A reminder to all student drivers that you must register your car with Mrs. Zinchuk in the Main Office and receive a parking tag for your vehicle. Parking in the first two rows is reserved for faculty and staff.
PSAT Course – is being offered to all sophomores and juniors on Wednesday evenings from 5 – 7 p.m. The cost of the course is $50.00 and all students are asked to pre register and pre pay in guidance. The course will run weekly from Wednesday, September 10th – Wednesday, October 8th.
SAT Refresher Course for Seniors - We will be running a refresher course for all seniors on Thursday evenings from 5 – 7 p.m. The cost for this course is $100.00 and all seniors are asked to pre register and pre pay in guidance prior to the first class. The course will run from Thursday, September 4th – Thursday, November 6th. We need at least 31 students to run the course.
SAT ACT Testing Dates: The first test for SAT will be October 11th. Registration deadline is September 12th. Please register on line at www.sat.org/register. The first test for ACT will be October 25th with a registration deadline of September 19th. www.actstudent.org/start. A complete listing of testing dates for both exams is posted outside the Guidance Offices and in the high school wing, second floor.
Seniors: Colleges/Universities are beginning to book visits to our school for interested students. The list of names, dates and times is posted on our web page under Guidance Department and is also posted outside of the Guidance Offices. Schools are calling in daily, so multiple additions will be posted weekly. Please register for the college/university you are interested in with Mrs. Omelenchuck so room accommodations are met.
VHS – There are still seats available for online courses through VHS. CP, Honors and AP courses are offered. Please see Ms. Romeo as soon as possible to secure a seat.
